Samsung has joined the battle of the budget 4G smartphones today with the unveiling of its Galaxy J1 4G, Galaxy Grand Prime 4G and Galaxy Core Prime 4G.

The all-new Galaxy J1 4G smartphone has been priced at Rs 9,900, while the pricing of the other two models is not yet known.

Samsung Galaxy J1 4G comes with a 4.3-inch WVGA TFT display, a 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera and 4GB storage with a microSD slot for cards up to 128 GB. Rounding the specs off is a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 768MB RAM and a 1,850 mAh battery. This smartphone will hit the shelves in March 2015 and will be available in blue, white and black colours.The Grand Prime 4G and Core Prime 4G will be in a slightly higher price bracket compared to Galaxy J1 4G.
