Reliance Communications launched free national roaming today to target corporates, SME and high-value postpaid and prepaid GSM subscribers, its press note said.
“RCom’s One India, One Rate plans will help us break down the tariff and extend unprecedented benefits to our roaming customers,” said Gurdeep Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Consumer Business, Reliance Communications.
RCom is one of the prominent players in the enterprise segment. With this offer the company is reiterating its focus on this segment. The enterprise segment could get ready for more goodies from other incumbent telcos.
As per this plan, customers would be charged on their home plan tariffs even while roaming anywhere in the country and there would be no difference between local, STD and roaming charges. RCom has introduced two plans for its postpaid customers: One India, One Rate 350 and One India, One Rate 599. Original post at Light Reading India
