The district consumer disputes redressal forum here has ordered a Samsung service centre to repair the defective mobile of a Dabkori village resident and give him a compensation of Rs 5,000.

In his complaint, Mohammed Raffi, 25, had said he bought a new Galaxy S Duos 2 handset for Rs 8,000 with one-year warranty in 2014. However, just after two days of the purchase, the mobile phone had trouble connecting with the network. A week later, the phone gave signal problems and would remain in emergency service’ mode, Raffi said. Original post at ET Telecom
