Swedish telecom gear maker Ericsson has bagged a nearly $10 million (Rs 60 crore) three-year operations support systems (OSS) deal from Mukesh Ambani-headed Reliance Jio Infocomm, the only pan-India 4G licence holder in the country, people familiar with the matter said.

Under the deal, Ericsson, the world’s largest network gear maker, will provide the telecom unit of Reliance Industries its service fulfilment software solutions, comprising nine suites including Catalog Manager, Granite Inventory and GIS-based Network Engineer solution, one of the persons said on condition of anonymity.

Ericsson declined to comment on the deal. In response to queries, a Jio spokesperson said, “As a policy, we do not comment on any of our ongoing business discussions and decisions.” Original post at ET Telecom
